Setup CAT6 cable tutorial

DEFINATION
cat6 or category 6 is an ethernet cable for it sixth version.its provide performance up to 250mhz an can be used up to maximum 100 meter length.it support higher performance than cat 5.cat 6 consist of four UTP of copper wire

TUTORIAL

equipment needed

1.cable cat6 wire
2.connector
3.crimper
4.cutter

STEP BY STEP

1.strip off the 4 cm of the cable jacket

2.untwisted the wire

3.peel back the wire an trim the teflon tape

4.set the wire into colour order

image 2: colour order(orange and white,orange,green and white,blue,blue and white,green,brown and white,brown)

5.straighten the wire.

6.cut the wire using cutter

7.insert the connector into the wire

8.check the wire if the wire reach the end of the connector

9.crimp the connector using crimper
